Kavos Beach
Kavos is well-known as party and night life hotspot from sunset till sunrise. Along the beach, there are plenty of beach bars and clubs so the right place to be for party lovers. In the morning hours the beach provides some tranquility, but by noon it gets lively while in the late afternoon, all restaurants will have opened and the party is already under way.
Kavos Beach is fully equipped with beach bars, restaurants, sun beds, lounges and umbrellas, comfortable beach beds. It offers also several opportunities to enjoy water sports such as snorkelling adventures, speedboat activities, parasailing, banana rides, water rings and many more.
tarting from the adjacent Asprokavos Beach, boat tours by speed boat are possible to Corfu Town, the Greek mainland (Blue Lagoon in Sivota), Paxos-Antipaxos as well as private cruises. If you prefer to be your own captain – speet boat rental is also available.
Arkoudilas Beach
For all who prefer a rather quiet and tranquil beach, there is Arkoudilas Beach in Lefkimi.
This beach is within easy reach from Kavos Plaza Hotel – from here it is only a 10 minutes drive, the walking distance is approx. 30 min [Directions]
At Arkoudilas Beach is a large 1.5 km long sandy beach, set in a small cove surrounded by high cliffs. Here is a limited numbers of umbrellas available and also a tiny kiosk where refreshing drinks can be bought. This beach is a natural beach with no further facilities so toilets, showers or lifeguards are not provided.
The water is particularly clear and shallow but only a few metres from the shore, it is deep with sometimes, strong underwater currents. In the afternoons, it can get a little windy.
